First real run of 2012

So 2012 is here and I am unfit and overweight ... (nothing changes) ... I decided that today was the day for my first longish one of the year ... So i did 11 miles and in short it was a right *****er .... it was cold, hilly, painful and with a feeling of I did all this last year why the hell didn't I just "keep on running" :) ... but hey here I was trying to get myself back to some kind of shape ready for the events ahead... No doubt I will have easier runs than this morning but if one thing is guaranteed - there will also be plenty of harder ones ....
